Coopers Beer

Today, Coopers brew a range of award-winning ales and stouts using only the finest natural ingredients. Our beers are bottle-conditioned and served cloudy, in the true Coopers tradition!

What makes Coopers ales unique?

  • Other bottled ales use a different strain of yeast for their secondary fermentation, so the sediment sticks to the bottom of the bottle. But at Coopers, we like our beers cloudy and yeast-filled - it's all part of their character and tradition. So before serving, a bottle of Coopers should be tipped on its head (or rolled down the bar!) to mix the yeast into the ale.
  • Coopers ales are brewed by a top fermentation method which produces a stronger, fruitier and more complex beer.
