Coopers Beer
Today, Coopers brew a range of award-winning ales and stouts using only the finest natural ingredients. Our beers are bottle-conditioned and served cloudy, in the true Coopers tradition!
What makes Coopers ales unique?
- Other bottled ales use a different strain of yeast for their secondary fermentation, so the sediment sticks to the bottom of the bottle. But at Coopers, we like our beers cloudy and yeast-filled - it's all part of their character and tradition. So before serving, a bottle of Coopers should be tipped on its head (or rolled down the bar!) to mix the yeast into the ale.
- Coopers ales are brewed by a top fermentation method which produces a stronger, fruitier and more complex beer.

Sparkling Ale
With its famous cloudy sediment and its distinctive balance of malt, hops and fruity characters, the old 'Red Label' is a tasty slice of Coopers history. Little has changed in the brewing process since 1862, when Thomas Cooper brewed his first batch. Sparkling Ale contains no additives or preservatives.

Original Pale Ale
A refreshing pale ale with a fruity, slightly spicy finish and subtle bitter aftertaste. Naturally fermented in the 'Burton-on-Trent' style, a secondary fermentation creates the trademark sediment which gives 'Pale' its fine cloudy appearance. Pale Ale contains no additives or preservatives.

Extra Strong Vintage Ale
Exclusive malts and an extended top fermentation mean this limited-edition extra strong ale improves with age, developing more complexity and spice for years to come! Vintage reaches its peak after around two years of careful storage in a cellar environment. Older vintages have developed Christmas pudding-like, Port and toffee flavours. Awarded "Best Import" at the Tesco Drinks Awards 2006. Vintage contains no additives or preservatives.
